My lawyer came to see me today,he said he had good news. Somehow he managed to get my case retried. There is really no point to it,the jury will just come out with the same verdict.
It was the first day of my new trial,they came to get me at seven thirty in the morning again. There was new jurors staring at me as I walked to my seat. Again they talked about mamans funeral,Raymond, and how I had plotted to kill the Arab. My lawyer gave the speech of why i shouldn't be killed the last day of the trial. I was tired of waiting in the same room where I had been before,the jury would either way just come up with the same verdict as before. When it was over my lawyer said to me "Aren't you happy,you'll be a free man in fifteen year's?" I responded with "Im tired." As I was being walked out I saw Marie smiling at me,with tears in her eyes,I would have smiled but I was to tired to smile back at her.
The day was here. The only person I saw when I got out was Marie,she was wearing a yellow dress,her breast looked nice. It been so long since I had been with a woman,it was fun.
When we got up Marie told me she loved me again and asked if I would marie her I said sure why not,this time she smiled.
It been a few weeks since I got out and Raymond called me,he asked if I wanted to go over ton Masson's. We agreed to meet the next day. When we arrived there I saw a man that looked so familiar but I just couldn't figure out who he was. The first thing Raymond said to me was, "I thought you were gone man" I said, "Yeah I got retired and they gave me fifteen year's." We continued talking about my case and what I was going to do now,the last thing I said was I was getting married with Marie.
As I made my way to the stop I saw the same man I had seen earlier,he was following me but I didn't pay much attention to him though. While at the stop he stopped me and said to me, "Are you ready?" I said, "For what?" he said, "To die" and I said, "At some point we all die,there is nothing special about the way we do." He looked at me and he just said this is for my brother.
